Extensive experience with a range of clients
Gilbert has worked for Terra Search since 2004, and has experience with a range of clients, both major mining houses (e.g. Xstrata, Placer/Barrick) and mid-junior explorers (e.g. CuDECO, Diatreme).
Gilbert has acquired extensive skills such as:
- Drilling supervision and logging (diamond and RC)
- Surface sampling and logging
- Recording and capture of geological data particular to drilling programs
- Confidence with computer tasks and adapting to new programs
- Experience with MapInfo, Explorer3, MicroMine, Acquire, and Microsoft Office programs.
Programs he has worked on include:
- Osborne
- George Fisher
- Rocklands
- Phosphate Hill in the Mt Isa Block and base metal gold projects at Clermont
- Volcanic hosted massive sulphide exploration in the Mt Windsor Sub-Province
- Charters Towers, North Qld for Kagara and Thalanga Copper Mines
- Recently, uranium exploration for Energy Metals, Bigrlyi.
