Our Equipment Hire service provides access to a wide range of field-ready vehicles and technical instruments to support your exploration or mining project. All equipment is serviced regularly to ensure safety and reliability in rugged conditions. We can supply gear on short notice from our bases in Townsville and Perth, helping your team stay productive in the field. Key equipment available for hire includes:

• Field Vehicles: A selection of field equipped 4WD, plus off-road all-terrain vehicles (such as quad bikes), are available to reach remote sites. These vehicles are fitted with necessary safety and communication gear, allowing your team to navigate rough tracks and carry samples or equipment with confidence.
  

• Survey & Sampling Equipment: We hire out portable equipment crucial for exploration work. This includes precision DGPS units and handheld GPS for accurate location surveying, field radios and satellite phones for communication, and other tools like compasses, handheld augers, and soil sampling kits. All tools are field-tested and ready to support your day-to-day operations.
  

• Geophysical Instruments: Terra Search offers specialized instruments for geophysical and geochemical measurements. You can rent ground magnetometers for magnetic surveys, portable XRF analyzers for on-site geochemical analysis of rocks and soils, portable gamma spectrometers or scintillometers for radiometric surveys, and other sensors as needed. Using our gear, you’ll acquire quality data without having to purchase expensive instruments outright.
