MSMS screen
MSMS is the library of safety management system documents. Open it from MSMS in the menu.
Two libraries
Generic MSMS is the shared library. You can browse, preview and download it, but not change it.
Client MSMS holds the files of your own safety profile. Here you can also upload, create folders and delete.
Browse and read
Choose a tab. Folders are listed first, then files.
Choose a folder to open it. The path across the top shows where you are; choose a part of it to go back.
Choose a PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint file to preview it: beside the list on a computer, in the lower half of the screen on a phone or tablet, the list above it. Tap the list, or change folder or library, to close it. While a PDF loads the preview says so, and it says when nothing came back.
Download opens the file in your browser.
Upload and organise (Client MSMS)
Uploading, creating folders and previewing PDFs all work in the beta. Folders and files are made in your organisation's folder of the MSMS library under your own account, so you need access to that folder: if the app says it failed, see FAQ.
Upload Files: choose up to 10 files and Upload. They go into the folder you have open. The app names any file that failed.
Create Folder: type a name and choose Accept. The folder is made inside the folder you have open. Any character a folder name cannot hold, such as / : * ? " < > | or \, becomes a hyphen.
Delete: choose Delete on a row and confirm. The deletion is permanent.
Good to know
Client MSMS shows up to about 2,000 files. Past that the app warns that not all files are shown: delete files you no longer need.
Reloading after an upload can take a few seconds.
